The story of the podcast
After a beautiful 12-year adventure as a singer, composer, and music producer that took me around the world, I decided in 2022 that it was time to move on to new pastures. I had lost my passion for music and wanted to dedicate my time and creativity to helping the world face the big challenges of our time.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about nature and animals. Every time I watched a documentary about climate change, environmental destruction, or biodiversity loss, it felt like a knife in the heart. I couldn’t stay on the sidelines any longer, it was time to be part of the solution.
Regenerative agriculture, in particular, caught my attention. Agriculture is central to life and human society, and most of the world’s land is dedicated to it.
Could we transform one of the biggest causes of environmental degradation and climate change into one of the biggest solutions? Could we offer farmers a better livelihood, grow tastier and healthier food, and regenerate ecosystems at the same time? After doing some reading, I became convinced the answer was yes.
I didn’t have a background in farming, agronomy, or the food industry. But I did have strengths in audio and video production, communication, and marketing — so I decided to use those to support the cause. The best way I could contribute was by starting a podcast about regenerative agriculture, bringing my microphone in front of pioneers, scientists, experts, and innovators to amplify their voices.
That’s how the Deep Seed podcast was born 🤍
